  • How do I download a file?

    To download a file on your computer click on the file and it will download.

  • How do I upload a file?

    At the bottom of your page click upload file. Enter the title for your file. Paste an abstract or write a description of the content in your file. This makes it easy for the search engine to find your files.

  • How do I leave a group?

    Visit the page for the group you want to leave and in the box group actions you click leave this group.

  • How do I create a group?

    On the page Group click Create a group today. Choose a title for your group, describe the purpose of your group and select your group type. Save. Now you are an administrator of this group.

  • How do I join a group?

    There are four different types of groups. Some groups are open to all members like Career Opportunities and Offers & Need. When you ask for membership you automatically become a member. The other groups are Moderated groups where membership requests must be approved; Invite only groups where membership must be created by an administrator and finally Closed groups where membership is exclusively managed by an administrator.

  • What are groups?

    Groups or discussion forums are created by our members. It is place where you can ask questions on specific topics.

  • How do I see all the people in my contact list?

    To see all your contacts click on Contacts and then on All contacts.

  • How do I look for different profiles?

    On the left of the search engine you can choose different categories to search within.

  • I have forgot my log in information. What can I do?

    Click on request new password. Write your registered email and click on send. We will send you an email with a new password.

  • How do I change my email?

    When you are logged in you click on edit profile where you find your account information. Here you can change your email.

  • How do I update my profile?

    Click on edit profile. Then you click on Profile and edit your information.

  • How do I remove a contact?

    Click on remove contact for the profile you wish to delete.

  • Why are some of my contacts missing?

    There are two reasons.

    1. The person has erased you as a contact.

    2. The person is no longer a member in Somerco Research.

  • How do I add contacts?

    Click on the add contact button and ask for friendship.

  • Can any member upload job ads?

    No. Only members registered as recruiters can upload job ads.

  • What happens when my premium membership ends?

    It changes to a free membership.

  • How do I know when my renewal is up?

    The system will notify you that your account is up for renewal!

  • How do I upgrade to a premium membership?

    In the upper right corner you click on Upgrade account. On the membership page you select a period and click on pay. Choose credit card type and fill in your credit card information. Click on Accept payment. Now you are a premium member.

  • What is included in a premium membership?

    The premium membership differs depending of your profile on Somerco Research.

    Premium membership includes for:

    • Research profile - membership in the group Commercialize Research, opportunities to use promotion and to write a fast pitch (a few sentences about a business idea).
    • Investor - membership in the group Commercialize Research and an opportunity to use promotion.
    • Other - membership in the group Commercialize Research and an opportunity to use promotion.
    • Company - possibility to publish information on Somerco Research and membership in the group Commercialize Research and an opportunity to use promotion.
    • Recruiter - Currently, there is not a premium membership for recruiters.
  • Is there a company profile for free?

    No.
